I now have most of what I need for the race itself. As you can see the pile has the standard things like GUs, thermolytes and all that jazz and then a lot of clothes to hit the between 30 degree and 60 degree weather range … for the race and for the Saturday run. What’s left is:
- Trash bag
- Pace bands
- Regular clothes and stuff for the weekend
- Post race clothes and food

Did I count correctly, are you taking 8 Gu’s with you for the marathon?? That’s awesome, I’m taking the same amount and get called crazy all the time cause everyone thinks I Gu too much!!!
